A fresh perspective to a global design event
IxDA - Interaction Design Association
As the first Interaction Week to be hosted in the APAC region, Interaction 24 set out to create a brand that captured the vibrancy of Sydney’s design community while reflecting the global nature of the event. Building on the foundation set by the Interaction 24 team, we expanded the brand into a bold, dynamic, and expressive identity that celebrates diverse perspectives and the way they shape our understanding of the world.
A brand built on shifting perspectives
At the heart of the brand is a playful visual language of graphic stickers, layered over text and imagery to highlight key messages. This approach mimics the tangible nature of interaction—where ideas are built, reinterpreted, and expanded upon. The identity also features abstract, prismatic patterns inspired by shifting viewpoints and the unique Australian landscape, acting as a unifying device across the event’s sub-brands, from the Education Summit to Workshops and the main conference.
Though the event did not go ahead, the brand system remains a testament to the power of design in shaping conversations, exploring new perspectives, and unlocking future possibilities.
